Travian Robertson, South Carolina The defensive line coach and former NFL player, is in a stable state after being injured in a car accident on Friday morning, university said in a statement.
Head coach Shane Beamer confirmed in a press release published by Southern Carolina that Robertson, who is in his third year as a Deputy coach of Gamecocks, should make a “complete recovery” after the accident.

“Travian Robertson was involved in a car accident this morning. He is currently in the hospital in a stable state. We expect him to recover completely and come back to the field soon,” said the school declaration.

Sources told Espn That the former 36 -year -old NFL player suffered a “significant injury to the lower leg”. Details of the accident were not immediately known.

Southern Carolina will probably be without Robertson when it opened the season against Virginia Tech August 31.
