Jim Tresl was nominated on Monday as the next Lieutenant-Governor of Ohio, and this pulled a reaction from one of his former star players when he trained Ohio State.
Terrelle Pryor, who was the Buckeyes quarter from 2008 to 2010, had a demonstration of two words support in Tresl.

“My guy,” he wrote in an article on his Instagram stories on Monday.
Pryor spent 2,772 yards and 27 affected in his last season with Buckeyes in 2010. He turned out to be Tresl last season with Buckeyes.
Tresl and Pryor were both taken in an inappropriate advantages scandal. The NCAA, after an investigation with the FBI and the Ministry of Justice, determined that Tresl, Pryor and other Buckeyes played the organization’s policies on unacceptable advantages. The players were accused of having received tattoos or money for autographs.
Tressel was accused of retaining information in the survey and resigned before the 2011 season. Pryor left school before his last year.

Pryor then played the wide receiver in the NFL and led a solid career. Tressel has never resulted in the collegial ranks again. Instead, he was president of the Youngstown State University from 2014 to 2023.
Ohio Mike Dewine Governor appointed Tressel to Lieutenant Governor after Jon Hust replaced Vice-President JD Vance in the American Senate.
“Jim Tresl is Ohio values. He is a hard worker and shares this vision (I) for the future of Ohio,” the Republican governor said on a press conference on Monday. “He has the ability to bring people together. He has the ability to lead. He will allow me to be assured that if something happens to me, he can enter and be governor that day and it would be transparent.”
Tressel expressed his admiration for Dewine.

“I want to study a little what Jon Husted has been in class, and so I want to learn the business, if you want,” he said. “And then it’s when you sit with the team and the staff and everyone trying to understand who best plays. And I would be more than happy to help wherever I can.”
