Ex-Prince Andrew’s former housekeeper has revealed what it was really like working for him in a previous interview.

Talk with The SunThe maid described the “disgraced” royal’s unusual habit of keeping 72 stuffed toys neatly arranged on his bed.

Charlotte Briggs, who worked at Buckingham Palace in the mid-1990s, said staff received a full day of training on how to position toys exactly as the former Duke of York wanted.

“As soon as I got the job, they told me about the stuffed animals, and they explained to me how he wanted them,” she revealed of King Charles’ brother.

She explained that each stuffed animal had to be placed in a specific order based on its size and location, leaving nothing out of place.

“I even had a training day. Everything had to be perfect. It was so special,” she added. “But he absolutely loved teddies and he was very clear about how he wanted them arranged.”

Recently, the former Duke of York received the biggest shock of his life after King Charles stripped him of his royal titles, including that of prince, and ordered him to leave his royal residence, the Royal Lodge.
