COBB played basketball at Connecticut University From 2017 to 2019. During his junior year, he achieved five departures in 15 games, with an average of 1.7 points and 2.7 rebounds. The following year, he appeared in 32 games, with an average of 3.7 points and 3.8 rebounds.
Previously, he played a season in South Carolina where he appeared in 24 games and had an average of 1.1 points and 1.9 rebounds.
