The Phoenix Suns and Mercury retaliated on an accusation in a recent trial which affirmed that the CEO of franchises Josh Bartelstein had an affair with the WNBA player Sophie Cunningham.
The accusation surfaced in a trial of the former employee Gene Traylor against Suns Legacy Partners, LLC. The trial was publicized last week, but a detail was revealed during the week.

Traylor said in the trial he had met Josh Bartelstein, who is married, and told him that Cornelius Craig, vice-president of security and risks teams, had been by telling people that Bartelstein had a connection with Cunningham.

The Suns responded in a statement to PK Press Club Digital.

Wright is one of the lawyers representing Traylor in the case.
Traylor, the former director of security, security and risk management director of the team, filed a complaint against Suns Legacy Partners, LLC, accusing the company of discrimination, harassment and reprisals. He also alleged that the team had retaliated against him after reporting violations of arms.
The Suns called the allegations Taylor made against the “delusional and categorically false” franchise.
