On Friday, at least 10 people were injured near Jan Mohammad Road in Quetta, news said the police on Friday.
The police said that the explosion had occurred when explosive materials had been planted on a motorcycle.
Immediate rescue operations followed and the injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment. The authorities have confirmed that no death had been reported so far.
A research operation was launched in the area to determine the cause of the attack and the individuals behind.
The explosion in Quetta occurred just a few hours after a suicide bombardment in Akora Khattak, district of Nowshera, in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The attack on the Darul Uloom Haqqania mosque killed at least four people, including Maulana Hamidul Haqqani, the chief of Jui-s.
A dozen others were injured in the explosion, which took place after Friday prayers. Police officials confirmed that Maulana Haqqani was probably the main target of the attack.
The rescue teams were sent to the site and the injured were taken to neighboring hospitals. Peshawar Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) has been put on alert in anticipation of new losses.
