What does it take to resume where you stopped with a colleague from 28 years ago? If your name is Tazeen Hussain and the colleague is his colleague actor Faisal Rehman, then the answer is very simple: it’s as if no time had spent at all.
“It didn’t look like 28 years old, but 28 minutes. Or 28 seconds! ” recalled Tazeen about her husband on the screen of Qarze Jaan (2024) in a clip redone RAFAY MAHMOOD podcast. Fans in the eyes of eagle of Pakistani television classics will remember the pair of Shahpar (1997). But although 1997 could be locked in the previous century, Tazeen is categorical about the fact that today’s Faisal is no different from the beam which she remembers almost three decades ago.
“Faisal hasn’t changed much, and he told me that I hadn’t changed much!” Continuous Tazeen. “He is a riot with which to work with. It’s like that before, and it’s like that now.”
According to Tazeen, the effervescent energy bundle brings to the whole is rooted in his love of thinking about his feet. “Many of our scenes have a lot of improvisations. He’s incredible with that, ”she explained.
Tazeen is categorical that his longtime co-star is also able to refine a scene before anyone can cancel his ideas. “He’s very intelligent!” admitted Tazeen. “He knows if he says [me what he is up to]I will not agree! So he does it right in front of the camera!
Even if she can be taken by surprise during a shoot, Tazeen’s chemistry with Faisal is such that she is able to rely on instinct during her scenes with him. “My reaction to him would be completely natural,” admitted the actor.
Having cultivated this shared story and fun chemistry with his experienced co-star, Tazeen awarded Faisal for allowing her to feel comfortable behind the camera, even when she experienced interior disorders to the requests of a scene.
“You know my wedding night sequence [in Qarze Jaan]? I was so stressed over, and I said [director] Saqib [Khan] That I couldn’t do it, it was too annoying. But he made me calm down and shoot it beautifully. And it became what he did because Faisal was with me. It is so important to have a relaxed relationship with the actor with whom you work. »»
In Tazeen’s experience, the fact that Faisal breathes this air of comfort, coupled with his refusal to lower anyone with whom he works, combines to do work with him a joy.
“He respects all his co-stars, whether new or experienced.
