Karachi:
Indian media reports on the decline in a fighter plane F-16 Pakistan Air Force (PAF) were “a blatant lie and false news,” said security sources on Thursday, describing such reports a manifestation of the confusion of Indian decision-makers and mental paralysis after the loss of dozens of drones in Pakistan.
According to sources, India had become more and more disoriented following the failure of its recent incursions of HAROP drones. The armed forces of Pakistan, they said, were fully ready to counter hostile conceptions and remained vigilant against the harmful intentions of India.
“In a state of panic,” said a security source, “India is now trying to justify a potential future assault against Pakistan by making stories of attacks to Rajasthan, Pathankot and Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Cashmere and Cashmere [IIOJK]. “”
Observers note a striking resemblance between the current disinformation campaign and the false story of India after the 2019 air skirmish during the Swift Retor operation. At that time, Pakistan killed two Indian hunting planes in response to Indian air strikes in Balakot.
India, however, said that one of his pilots, the wings commander, Abhinandan Varthaman – who was captured after ejected from his Mig -21, had managed to shoot down a Pakistani F -16 before his own plane was brought back. Pakistan denied the complaint F-16.
Later that year, Foreign Policy magazine quoted the US defense officials, who had explained all the Pakistani F-16s and did not find it missing-contradicting the assertion of India. Following the report, the military spokesman said: “India’s statements on the attack and its consequences are false. It is time for India to have told the loss of its second draft shot by Pakistan.”
Despite the lack of independent verification, the president of India, Ram Nath Kovind, awarded the ABhinandan squadron commander the Vir Chakra – the third higher military honor in wartime – for having “Downing” a Pakistani F -16. Pakistan maintains its position according to which two Indian jets were slaughtered in 2019 and that no PAF F-16 was lost in the exchange.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically rejected the “baseless allegations and irresponsible propagated by the Indian media” of Pakistan launching attacks on Pathankot, Jaisalmer and Srinagar, saying that these affirmations were entirely unfounded, motivated by political and reckless motivation.
The repeated model of leveling accusations against Pakistan without any credible investigation reflects a deliberate strategy to make a pretext for assault and to further destabilize the region, “the Foreign Office spokesman said on Thursday.
“Such actions put not only more in danger of regional peace, but also reveal a disturbing desire to exploit disinformation for political and military purposes. We urge the international community to take a serious note of this dangerous behavior and to advise India to restraint and responsibility,” he continued.
“Any climbing based on false pretexts will be welcomed with a complete resolution and a determination to protect the sovereignty of Pakistan and territorial integrity. Pakistan remains vigilant and firmly engaged in peace, but it will not be dissuaded by attempts to provoke, intimidate, or to distort and reserve the right to the response to acts of aggression.
