Islamabad:
The Immigration Unit of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four passengers at Islamabad international airport for trying to go to Lithuania using counterfeit residents.
According to a spokesperson for the crime agency, the passengers, all Jhelum’s brothers, were unloaded and placed in police custody after their documents raised suspicion during immigration checks.
The incident occurred during the recording process for flight J2144, bound for Bakou, Azerbaijan.
Travelers intended to go to Lithuania after reaching Baku. After inspection, immigration officials found that the Lithuanian resident cards were false.
