Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, was trapped in a building in the Philippines.
The Duchess of Sussex, which no longer speaks on its paternal side of the family, is said via X that her father is stuck on the island of Cebu after a deadly earthquake.
By taking at X, the half-sister of Meghan, Samantha, wrote: “My father is stuck on the 19th floor of a building in the Philippines after a massive earthquake and he cannot walk and he is trapped.”
She added later: “I wish to exercise our deep gratitude to everyone expressing her concern about my father. Thank you.
“To date, he is doing well and made plans to get out of this building. They seem to be sure for the moment, and I hope there will be no serious aftershocks. Arrangements are made so that he is no longer trapped in a similar situation. May God bless you and remain safe everyone!” She revealed.
