The long-awaited trailer for Barzakh Finally abandoned, the actors began to publish the trailer on their social, offering a long-awaited overview in this masterpiece. Directed by Asim Abbasi, the visionary director behind Cake And Whistle,, Barzakh boasts Sanam Saeed and Fawad Khan as the two main tracks. As a first impression, the trailer is doing well to perfectly mix realism with the supernatural fantasy in the unpretentious context of a family meeting.
The series teases the journey of a 76-year-old man who shocks his separate children and grandchildren: he marries the ghost of his first true love. This unconventional announcement triggers a cascade of emotional revelations and confrontations, leaving the family torn between celebration and intervention. In the middle of chaos, a haunting question is looming: “When everything will have withered, will like to endure?”
It opens with a large mountain plan in the areas of northern Pakistan, focusing on a panel that leads somewhere called “Land of Nowhere”. While we go further in the trailer, we can reach the conclusion that the land of nowhere could be the eccentric name of the hotel where most of the series is defined. The emphasis on “could” because it is clear that in the case of this series, the public should expect the unexpected.
The trailer strongly presents a cult symbolism and the occult scenes and presenting figures dressed in rose with rocks attached to their backs making rituals around a tree, and SAEED meeting a figure rolled in red against the mountains covered with snow snow . The striking contrast between the brilliantly lit scenes of Hunza’s beauty and the weakly lit and strange moments filled with sinister laughs and a chalky hand caressing a shoulder amplifies the disturbing atmosphere of the spectacle.
The trailer ends with three consecutive blows which leave viewers both confused and when they started it. The frightening figures in pink and red make a reappearance that only adds the growing need for the authoritarian to know more. Who are they? Or more importantly – what are they? One thing is clear: this is not a typical desi drama. It is something beautiful that promises to captivate and terrify the same measure.
With powerful performance of all the casting, Barzakh stands out as a must. Alongside Khan and Saeed, the six -episode series includes Salman Shahid, Eman Suleman, Khushhal Khan, Faiza Gillani, Anika Zulfikar and Franco Giusti, among others. The series is produced by Shailja Kejriwal and Waqas Hassan, with a superb cinematography of Mo Azmi. Mark your calendars for July 19, when Barzakh First simultaneously on Youtube and Zee5 by Zindagi.
