Fazl denies to support KP Govt Evite

Charsadda:

The head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman has clarified his position with regard to a change of government in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), declaring that he had asked that a change be caused by the legislators for themselves, not by external force.

In the midst of the whirlwind rumors of a “regime change” of brewing in the KP, the jui-f leader on July 12 threw his weight behind the idea of a political change in the province led by PTI, but with a warning that the change must come from the power in power itself.

Rejecting the concept of stolen door maneuver, Maulana said that legitimacy could not be transmitted by “boots” but should come from the will of the people.

Addressing the media during a visit to Charsadda, Fazl said that he had not suggested moving without confidence against the PTI government, but had proposed a change within the province “not by breaking parties or by buying members, but by providing a new administration of PTI itself”.

He said that he did not end his disagreement with Imran Khan’s party but that he wanted to improve relations with her. “I want to keep the limited differences in political level and reduce bitterness. I do not want to respond to their assault or indecency,” he added.

Fazl said the current situation in the KP could not support other political disorders, but reiterated the assertion that the PTI was also imposed on the province by rigging during the elections of February 8, 2024.

“Yes, the court recognized the PTI government. The world accepts it-we cannot change that. But history will judge whether our complaint for a stolen mandate was good or wrong,” he added. He condemned the PML-N’s legal action against JUI-F on a seat reserved for KP, asking how they could trust an opposition that continued to help the provincial government.

“We practice a moderate policy and show respect, but the ruling party and the opposition use abusive language against us and take us to justice,” he said, calling a conversation without confidence.

The head of Jui-F also castigated the creation of his alleged inability to establish peace in the province in 40 years. “Why was terrorism not eradicated in 40 years? The state institutions are simply not serious at the idea of ending terrorism. They should not put the blame for their failure to the public.”

Fazl has said that ensuring peace and security is the responsibility of the State and that law enforcement organizations are forced to protect the life and property of citizens. “Terrorist incidents in the past four decades have launched state institutions. The same state that claims that it can put India on their knees in four hours seems unable to control domestic terrorism. This raises serious concerns about their intention,” he said.
