TAUNSA Sharif:
The chief of Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, said on Saturday that his fight against “oppression and tyranny” would continue, saying that the rebellion against slavery was the determining characteristic of his party.
In an address at the Istehkam-E-Pakistan conference held by JUI-F in Taunsa Sharif, the religious-politicalist declared a revolt against oppression, slavery and exploitation.
The conference, assisted by a large crowd, was decorated with festive flags and welcoming banners.
Addressing the rally, he alleged that the leading elite exploited the poverty of the people to their own advantage.
He also declared that freedom “could not be begged other countries because our difficulties are too similar”.
“People in power benefit from our poverty, confusing it with weakness,” he added, pointing unjust practices of the ruling class and the owners.
Regarding the 26th amendment, he said that he contained 56 points. He underlined the crucial inclusion of clauses aimed at eliminating the interest (wear) of the financial system of Pakistan.
“From January 1, 2028, the interests will be completely eradicated from Pakistan. If damage comes to this amendment, it will be considered support for the usurious system,” he said.
He also deplored the continuous persecution encountered by Muslims around the world, saying that they were unjustly qualified as terrorists, adding that the perpetrators of real violence were those who spread chaos around the world.
Maulana condemned the in progress violence against Muslims in various parts of the world, in particular in regions like Gaza, Afghanistan, Syria and Lebanon, which he described as “burning in the fire of war”, largely due to international conspiracies.
“Who sets fire to the Muslim world? America and Europe are the killers of humanity.”
He also expressed his belief in the divine nature of the Torah and the Bible, claiming that they are books of God alongside the Koran.
He also stressed that if some still advise submission to the West and America, “we will not bow before the rising sun”.
He strongly criticized the brutal actions of Israel in Palestine, saying: “The Palestinians did not include their heads but sacrificed their lives”.
Fazl has also condemned the involvement of American and European powers in the suffering of Muslims, stressing that they are not entitled to world management.
He urged Muslim leaders to assume responsibility for their role in the Palestinian in progress, declaring that they were just as accomplices of injustice.
