FBR to spend RS180m in computer stationery

Islamabad:

In an astonishing disclosure, the Federal Board of Return (FBR) supply plan for the financial year 2025-26, revealed Thursday, shows that 180.36 million rupees out of a total of 560 million rupees will be spent only for the purchase of computer stationery.

According to documents from the supply plan published by the FBR, 5 million rupees have been reserved for refreshments, including tea and cookies served during official meetings.

Fuel for official vehicles will cost the FBR RS35 million, while more than 20 million rupees have been allocated to vehicle maintenance.

Expenses linked to visits by foreign delegations have been budgeted at 10 million rupees. Likewise, telephone and trunk calls will cost 16.7 million RS RS.

An amount of RS180.36 million will be spent for the purchase of computer stationery only. It is estimated that 70 million rupees will be spent on material repairs, while 19.8 million rupees have been allocated to FBR safety.
