FCC publishes first list of causes

ISLAMABAD:

The newly established Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has published its first list of cases, officially opening legal proceedings under the newly established Supreme Judicial Forum.

Three FCC benches will begin hearing cases this week. FCC Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan is expected to start hearing the cases from Monday (today), while Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will also begin the proceedings.

A separate two-member bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice KK Agha will also start hearing cases from today. It is noteworthy that on Friday, Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan issued his first major administrative order by appointing key officials of the court.
