The judicial magistrate of District South dismissed Tuesday Armughan Qureshi to the judicial custody in an in -law investigation into an illegal operation of the call center, expressing dissatisfaction on the failure of the FIA to show progress despite repeated extensions of physical dismissal.

Armughan, who is also the main accused in the murder of Mustafa Amir of high level, was produced in court at the end of his last pre -trial detention. The FIA (IO) investigating officer asked for custody more, declaring that during the interrogation, the accused had revealed the identity of more than five alleged accomplices and disclosed the details of the accounts and digital addresses, which required an additional approach.

However, the court questioned the need to extend physical dismissal more, declaring that the accused has already been in police custody for almost two months. “You haven’t done anything in four derogations,” said the magistrate, criticizing the slow rhythm of the FIA.

The court also investigated the legal representation of the accused and if it had been subject to a form of ill -treatment during detention. In response, Armughan said with disdain, “do what you want”, then remained silent despite the judge’s repeated questions. The judge noted that the accused had appeared as a cooperative in previous procedures but no longer responded.

A lawyer present in the courtroom raised an objection, calling for the contempt for the silence of the accused of the court. The magistrate recognized the concern, adding: “It is not an ordinary matter” and referred to the presumed participation of the accused in several cases. The FIA argued that access to the accused’s digital wallets and new recovery was still pending. However, the court judged that the investigation had been granted enough time to such purposes and denied the request for additional dismissal.

The magistrate ordered that Armughan be sent to prison in pre -trial detention and ordered the FIA IO to submit the final Challan at the next hearing.
