CDF reiterated military’s zero-tolerance policy for national security threats

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Force Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Thursday visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was briefed on the operational training readiness, training standards and measures to improve combat effectiveness, the Army’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army chief observed a specialized field training exercise that demonstrated the use of modern technologies, reflecting the Army’s emphasis on innovation and adaptability to meet future battlefield challenges.

During the visit, Field Marshal Munir also inspected the sports and recreational facilities provided to the troops, highlighting their role in maintaining physical fitness, morale and general well-being.

He then visited a high-level healthcare facility at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Lahore, where he congratulated the medical staff and administration for creating a modern and fully equipped healthcare facility.

Addressing the officers, the Army Chief reiterated the Army’s zero tolerance policy towards national security threats, reaffirming the Army’s resolve to respond to evolving challenges with professionalism and determination.

He said the armed forces remained committed to safeguarding the sovereignty, territorial integrity and internal stability of Pakistan, while promoting discipline, excellence and selfless national service.
