COAS says Pakistan seeks regional peace, but any violation of its territorial integrity will be responded to decisively

Field Marshal Asim Munir said “all necessary measures” were being taken against Indian-sponsored proxies – Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij – involved in propagating anti-people and anti-development agendas with the malicious intention of perpetrating violence in Balochistan.
“All necessary measures are being taken to chase away these terrorists and rid the province of this menace,” the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) reiterated during his interaction with the participants of the 17th Balochistan National Workshop, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS reiterated that Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability; however, any violation of its territorial integrity, whether direct or indirect, will result in a firm and decisive response to safeguard the lives and well-being of its citizens.
During the interaction, Field Marshal Munir said that Balochistan is the pride of Pakistan, blessed with vibrant, resilient and patriotic people who represent the true wealth of the province.

ISPR added that the army chief highlighted the initiatives of the federal and provincial governments to improve the socio-economic landscape of Balochistan through a people-centric approach. He stressed the importance of realizing the immense economic potential of the province for the benefit of its people.
The COAS also recognized the constructive role of civil society, particularly in youth engagement and empowerment, and highlighted its central role in sustainable development. He said their active participation is crucial to counter vested political agendas and ensure long-term prosperity in Balochistan.
