Final Fantasy 14 joined forces with Fujifilm to bring a new instax camera emote to the game.
The collaboration starts today in parallel with the release of Patch 7.18 and presents the exclusive emote “Photography” with a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) which imitates the act of capturing moments with an instax polaroid camera.
The emote is free and has been added to the emote collection of each player with the new update, so it is not necessary to do everything possible to buy or cultivate for that.
There is also a second phase in the Fujifilm collaboration which will start on February 27 and will take place until March 30 with a campaign will be organized on X / Twitter.
Final Fantasy 14 Players can visit the campaign website to create digital instax prints from screenshots taken into play.
They can then share their photos on X / Twitter and up to 10,000 participants will have the chance to win exclusive articles at stake, including accessories such as the Gaelicap hat, a large parapluie paraserpent and big cat earrings . Instructions and entry requirements can also be found on the website.
The Patch 7.18 also arrives with new changes in battle system, such as the abolition of the weekly restriction on the reception of light holoblades of the first level of Arcadion raid, a plethora of PVP adjustments and some improvements in quality of life.
Square Enix confirmed that Patch 7.2, the next major update entitled Seekers of Eternity, will be released at the end of March 2025. It will be delivered with a ton of new features, including new main scenario quests, a new dungeon called The Underkeed, The New Arcadion: Cruiserweight level raid, and more.
