As fans pressed for details, one joked, “What was your drink while playing,” the former cornerback replied, “Tequila or a nice bourbon.”

“It makes me really sad that people didn’t get the right message from his admission and instead took it as a player admitting to playing drunk,” Jammer added.
He also highlighted the mental stress footballers face: “Football players also face life problems. Problems don’t care who you are or what you do. Hell, they don’t care how much money you make. I heal the way I want to heal.”
