Alula, Saudi Arabia:
The inaugural conference of Alula for emerging market economies began here on Sunday, bringing together financial ministers, central bank governors, decision -makers and economic experts from around the world.
Pakistan Federal Minister for Finance and the Senator of Muhammad Aurangzeb revenue, attended the two-day high-level event on the special invitation of his Saudi counterpart, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, said a press release.
The conference, jointly organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Saudi finance ministry, aims to promote discussions on resilience and sustainable economic growth within the framework of global economic uncertainties.
In total, nine sessions will take place, featuring 200 participants and 36 speakers, with representatives of 48 countries present.
During the conference, Senator Aurangzeb will participate in a high -level round table on “navigation on the way of resilient emerging markets” moderate by the director general of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva, alongside financial ministers in Egypt, Brazil and Türkiye.
The ALULA conference is expected to become an annual platform for emerging markets and the development of economies to shape global economic discourse, improve the coordination of policies and strengthen international cooperation for sustainable economic stability.
