A statement from Sindh Rescue 1122 spokesperson said the department’s central command and control received a report and immediately dispatched fire and rescue teams to the site, along with an ambulance and a fire engine.
He added that firefighting efforts were currently underway and Rescue 1122 personnel were working to bring the fire under control.

Karachi has been grappling with a series of fire incidents, with back-to-back fires reported at Gul Plaza, Electronic Market and Landhi Industrial Processing Zone.
The Gul Plaza fire last month claimed the lives of 79 people, while several others were reported missing. After the rescue operation, the place was sealed by the authorities.
