Five terrorists killed in safety raids through KP: ISPR

The security forces killed five terrorists during three separate operations in different regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to a press release published by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), operations were carried out on April 30 and May 1 in various KP places, during which five terrorists were killed.

The press release added that two terrorists had been arrested during the operation. In the Bajaur district, the security forces launched an operation based on intelligence reports, effectively targeting a militant hiding place.

According to the spokesperson for the Pakistani army, three terrorists were killed after a heavy exchange of fire. Among the dead was a target of great value, identified as Fareedullah.

He also declared that another secret operation had been carried out in the Dosali region in northern Waziristan, where two terrorists were killed during a shooting.

The ISPR said that the third operation was carried out in the Mohmand district, where the security forces succeeded in a militant hiding place and arrested two terrorists, including a high -level activist named LAL Amir, also known as Ibrahim.

The army spokesman added that a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives had also been recovered during these operations. The terrorists killed and arrested had participated in various terrorist activities.

The press release concluded that a customs clearance is underway in the region to eliminate the remaining terrorists and that the Pakistani army remains determined to eradicate terrorism and will continue its struggle to rid the country of this threat.
