Battagram:
An unidentified man on a motorcycle was killed by a police officer in a petrol pump in the Battagram region on Friday evening.
According to the police, the suspect opened fire on the constable and fled immediately after committing the crime. They added that the gendarme Ghulam Ishaq, a breaking of Pazzang, was breaking, made a boom in a petrol pump in the Maidan Battagram region when the suspect, who had chased him, opened fire at a bland point.
The constable collapsed on the spot and succumbed to his injuries.
After the incident, a strong contingent of the Battagram police as well as a large number of local residents reached the crime scene. The body was transferred to a neighboring hospital for the autopsy and was then given to the victim’s family to bury in his native village.
The police sealed all the exit routes and set up checkpoints in order to apprehend the accused. According to the FIR deposited by the victim’s family, a rival part of the same village was involved in a dispute in progress against a girl was appointed in the case.
