The two leaders also discussed their point of view on regional issues.
The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs had announced earlier this week that it would increase its ban on seizing Afghan nationals after having increased legal pressure at home and an expulsion push by Pakistan.
About 2,000 Afghans were approved for the resettlement of Germany as part of a program for people considered to be at risk under the domination of the Taliban. These 2,000 people have been blocked in Pakistan for months, after Berlin interrupted the initiative in the midst of a commitment to limit migration.
The decision to resume migration has occurred after several prosecutions were filed by groups and assigned Afghan people, questioning the frost.
This decision decreases in the middle of the Pakistan move to expel the Afghan refugees before the deadline of September 1, which includes the part of the German relocation program.
