Islamabad:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Pakistan has the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan in high esteem and that he is entitled to all diplomatic privileges.
The FO spokesman said that the Iranian envoy was very respected in the country for his positive role. Being a close friend and ambassador of the neighboring country, he is entitled to all diplomatic privileges, protections and recognition, he added.
The FO spokesperson stressed that the role of the Iranian envoy is laudable to strengthen the fraternal links between Pakistan and Iran, adding that diplomatic relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect and dignity.
