Pakistan’s Foreign Office responded on the alleged visit of Pakistani journalists on Tuesday in Israel, Express News reported. Addressing a weekly press briefing, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, said that the government collected information on reports on Pakistani visiting Israel.

“The government of Pakistan noted reports on Pakistani journalists traveling to Israel. In this regard, it is specified that the Pakistani passports explicitly declare that they are “not valid for travel to Israel. “Therefore, no visit of this type is possible under existing regulations,” FO said in a press release.

The press release argued that Pakistan’s position on Israel remains unchanged. Pakistan does not recognize Israel and firmly supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the creation of an independent and sovereign Palestinian State based on the frontiers before 1967, with al-Quds al-Sharif as capital, he added.

Pakistan reiterates its unwavering commitment to a just and peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Palestinian people, concluded the press release.

Earlier, the media, including Jerusalem Post, said that a group of Pakistani journalists went Israel to study the Holocaust and the attacks of October 7, which questions the dominant stories.
