Pakistan’s Foreign Office has issued a strong condemnation of India missile strikes, calling them an “uninsured act of open aggression” and a blatant violation of Sovereignty and International Law of Pakistan.

The spokesman for the Foreign Affairs Bureau Shafqat Ali Khan said on Wednesday that the Indian air force had made strikes using weapons to do while remaining in Indian airspace – but deliberately targeted civil zones through the international border and the control line (LOC).

“These attacks were carried out through the international border in Muridke and Bahawalpur, and through the loc in Kotli and Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir,” Khan said. “The targets were innocent civilians, including women and children, who were martyred following these loose actions.”

The spokesman also warned that these strikes threatened serious threats to commercial air traffic in the region and violated the sacredness of international aviation standards.

“Pakistan categorically condemns this act of Indian aggression,” said Khan. “Such actions are in clear violation of the Charter of the United Nations, international law and established standards governing interstate relations.”

He also accused Indian leadership of using Pahalgam’s attack as a pretext to push a false story of terrorism and destabilize regional peace. “India has once again used terrorism as an excuse to justify military assault, risking peace and security in the region,” said Khan.

He pointed out that India’s irresponsible behavior has put two nuclear arms dangerously close to a major conflict. “The situation evolves quickly,” he warned.

Khan said that Pakistan reserves the right to respond at a time and a place of choice, in accordance with article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

“The government, the armed forces and the inhabitants of Pakistan are united against Indian aggression,” he said, adding: “They will always act with the resolution of iron to protect the sovereignty of Pakistan and territorial integrity.”
