The Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically rejected the allegations propagated by the Indian media accusing Pakistan of having conducted attacks on Pathankot, Jaisalmer and Srinagar, calling the claims “without foundation, irresponsible and politically motivated”.

The ministry warned that such tactics not only inflamed tensions but are likely to serious consequences for regional stability. He urged the international community to take note of what it described as the “dangerous behavior” of India and advise New Delhi to do the exercise of restraint and responsibility.

“Any climbing based on false pretexts will be welcomed with complete resolution and determination to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan,” added the press release.

While reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the country is not intimidated or caused by disinformation. “Pakistan remains vigilant and firmly attached to peace, but reserves the right to respond to any act of aggression,” he added.

The press release ended with a firm rejection of Indian allegations, rejecting them in the “strongest possible terms”.
