- A future Apple Watch should present a camera
- Previous rumors indicate that serial and ultra models could use AI to provide a context in the world around the user
- A new report indicates that Apple fleas for products could be ready in just two years
Depending on the reports that Apple could add a camera to its Apple Watch range in the future, a new report says that fleas for the device could be ready to be launched by 2027, which suggests that the major upgrade could be much closer than we thought.
Previously, it was revealed that Apple provided a major upgrade to its best Apple watches transform it into a device with on -board cameras. The report indicated that Apple Watch would use cameras and on -board microphones that “help the device to see the outside world and use AI to provide relevant information”.
Now, the same source, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, says the chip that feeds this device at only 18 months. “The company is developing a chip called Nevis for the Apple Watch equipped with the camera and a component named Glennie for similar Airpods,” wrote Gurman in his latest power on Newsletter. “Apple aims to prepare these chips around 2027,” he continued.
Apple Watch cameras close?
While we knew the expected range of the best Apple Watch 2025 range – the Apple Watch SE 3, the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 – would not offer cameras, because Gurman had previously suggested that a portable Apple at Apple was “at generations”. It turns out that he may have only meant two generations, which means that for most users, the next watch that you buy could have a camera.
As we have already noted, a portable Smartwatch of AI could provide users with contextual information on the benchmarks they see on vacation, directions, etc. It is a concept that has supported certain missed laptops such as human aid spindle, and would be strongly based on the excellent functionality of Apple Apple’s intelligence, Visual Intelligence.
In the longer term, this could be part of a recently alluded by Apple Eddy Cue, who pointed out to the cuff that we might not need the best iPhones in 10 years. Cue made its comments in the context of the IA industry in rapid development, so it is important not to extrapolate too much from them. However, an intelligent watch fed by AI, or perhaps light intelligent glasses (on which Apple also works), could well be one of those devices that unlock this future without iPhone.
A more cynical approach would reveal that Apple and Cue’s comments are probably only a cunning to prevent the United States Ministry of Justice from exploding its $ 20 billion agreement with Google for the default place as an iPhone search engine, probably in the hope that the court is less likely to intervene if it thinks that the iPhone is a dying race.
It seems unlikely that Apple was dropping his successful obscure iphone ecosystem in favor of a portable niche that remains an iPhone accessory at this stage. More likely, an Apple Watch equipped with a camera would only be one functionality of the already understandable companion of the iPhone – in other words, another reason for users to consider presenting themselves for one of the best iPhones.
However, mark your calendars for 2027, because it seems that big changes are on the way.
