- The Realme P4 Power has a 10,001 mAh battery
- Despite this enormous capacity, it weighs only 219g
- It will launch in India on January 29, with a global launch to be confirmed
We seem to be in the middle of a battery capacity revolution, because following the 7,300 mAh OnePlus 15 which surpassed the 5,000 mAh smartphone standard last year, Realme has now launched a phone with a 10,001 mAh battery.
Dubbed the Realme P4 Power, this phone launches on January 29, but the company has already shared plenty of details about it, including that the phone can apparently manage 185.7 hours of music playback, 21.3 hours of browsing, 32.5 hours of YouTube, or 72.3 hours of calling on a single charge.
So this is a battery that for most people will probably last at least a few days, and could potentially last up to about a week if you’re a light enough user. Despite this, the Realme P4 Power only weighs 219g, which is roughly equivalent to the 5,000mAh. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and less than 5,088 mAh iPhone 17 Pro Max.
This is largely due to silicon anode technology, which can store more energy than the graphite used in traditional lithium-ion batteries. Also used in some electric vehicles, this technology means higher energy density for similar weight, helping the P4 Power avoid brick status.
It’s not more power. It’s Power rewritten. 10,001 mAh doesn’t raise the bar. It’s moving so far that no one is catching up. Realme P4Power launching on January 29. Learn more, stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/UgRH5xOS7TJanuary 20, 2026
Fast charging and built to last
The P4 Power also charges at 80W and offers 27W reverse charging, making it very viable as a way to power other devices.
Additionally, the phone has passed military-grade shock tests and its battery status should be able to stay above 80% for eight years, so it doesn’t wear out quickly.
Battery aside, the Realme P4 Power has a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, a 50 MP main camera, and a 144 Hz display with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, so its other specs look promising as well.
Pricing and availability are the big outstanding questions, with the initial launch apparently limited to India – but with a battery like that, we certainly hope it goes global.
