Urban Meyer was one of the most efficient university football coaches in recent memory, because he led the Ohio Buckeyes and Florida Gators at the national championships before moving away from the game.
Meyer revealed during a sermon in Columbus, Ohio, in a non -denominational church which he threatened to leave school after his idea of having a religious service before the team meetings on Sunday. He said he wanted to “bring the church” to players who did not have time during the week.

The former coach said that the lawyer for the university had told him that he was not authorized to have a biblical study and that he was not allowed to have a religious service. He recalled that he had sworn to do it anyway.
“I said,” I’m really busy, we do it. “She got our sports director,” he said. Gene (Smith) arrives, I did not tell this story on several occasions. But, it comes … and it is like “ok”, and I said “gene, we do that, otherwise, you have to let me go”. He says to himself: “We are well, let’s talk”.

He had 83-9 as a chief coach of Ohio State. He retired from training in the midst of an investigation to find out if he was aware of allegations of abuse against assistant Zach Smith. Ryan Day took over from there.
Meyer trained Jacksonville Jaguars for 13 games before being dismissed in his first season.
