Former Zimbabwe national team soccer Player Tendai Ndoro was found dead in his home in South Africa, the country’s football association announced on Tuesday. He was 40 years old.
THEZimbabwe football association (ZIFA) published a declaration on social media confirming the death of Ndoro. The association did not provide details on its death.

“Zimbabwe Football Association is deeply saddened to learn the premature death of the former warriors, Tendai Ndoro,” said the press release. “Ndoro was a gifted striker who proudly represented our nation, distinguishing the Warriors jersey. His talent, his commitment and his passion for the game have inspired a lot, and his contributions to Zimbabwean football will be forever known.
“On behalf of the Zifa executive committee, the football family and the whole nation, we extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends and relatives of Ndoro during this difficult period. That his soul rests in eternal peace.”

The cause of death of former premier player George Baldock was revealed as a drowning accident
The daily mirror reported that Ndoro had been found dead in his home in Johannesburg, South Africa. According to the British outlet, Ndoro suffered from a “long -term disease”.
Several of the former NDORO teams have shared statements on social networks in mourning of their death.

The veteran striker made his national team debut in 2013 and continued in 14 games, scoring five goals, until 2017. He also played for several professional clubs, more recently with Al-Orouba from the Oman Professional League in 2020.
