A Fortnite The Simpsons live-action crossover event airs this weekend (November 1) and so far we know very little about it. Luckily, we know when the event should go live and some information on what to expect. There have also been some in-game teases, including an appearance from Kang and Kodos.
Fortnite The Simpsons live event – key information
So far, we know that there will be a live event to kick things off, leading into the new season. It is regular seasonal changes like these that have allowed Fortnite ranked high on our list of best crossplay games to play in 2025.

Fortnite The Simpsons Live Event Start Date and Time
THE Fortnite x The Simpsons live event begins November 1 at the times below:
- East Coast (United States): 11:00 a.m. ET
- West Coast (United States): 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time)
- United Kingdom: 15:00 GMT
- Central Europe: 4:00 p.m. (Paris time)
- Australia (Sydney): 2:00 a.m. AEDT (November 2)
- Japan (Tokyo): 00:00 JST (November 2)
We’ll likely know more about matchmaking later this week, but expect to log in about half an hour before the event starts to ensure you get a spot.
What do we know about the Fortnite The Simpsons live event?
“The ‘Welcome Our Alien Overlords’ Mini-Event – November 1. Even Bart’s Treehouse can’t contain what’s in store. Relax on the couch, grab a donut, and welcome Kang and Kodos on November 1 at 11 a.m. ET! Don’t change the channel – more episodes of The Simpsons are coming soon.”
So it looks like the mini-event is titled: “Welcome Our Extraterrestrial Overlords.” In the Instagram post embedded above, we see Kang and Kodos go head-to-head with Jones and Hope, all Simpsons style.

On X, the official Fortnite The account revealed another look at Kang and Kodos, confirming the upcoming event. So far, that’s really all we have, although there are a few in-game teases, which I’ll cover below.
The Simpsons Fortnite game teasers
If you are heading towards Fortnite Battle Royale and visit Creepy Camps, you will find a countdown timer indicating the start time of the event. It sits next to Bart’s Treehouse, which is completely shaded, as is the area around it. You can jump into the treehouse to find a TV.
In addition to the treehouse and countdown timer, you’ll also see Kang and Kodos flying alongside the battle bus at the start of a match. They are in the Fortnite art style, so it’s possible they will be available in glider form later.
This is all that has been officially confirmed for the upcoming Fortnite x Simpsons Live Event. As more information is revealed, I will be sure to add it here. There were some Fortnite The Simpsons leaks, however, revealing some of the Battle Pass characters and an early version of the new map.
