Fortnitemares 2025 has now been teased, and it’s rumored to release sometime this month. Fortnite later this week. Although Epic Games has yet to reveal all the details of this year’s Halloween event, we do know that it will involve pop megastar Doja Cat and Scream’s Ghostface. Other teases point to a collaboration with Scooby Doo, as well as other interesting tie-ins.
Fortnite is currently well into Chapter 6 Season 4, and there was recently a K-pop collaboration Demon Hunters that made some changes to the map. As the year draws to a close, it is clear that Fortnite won’t slow down anytime soon. It’s regular updates and changes, like Fortnitemares, that have kept Fortnite ranked highly in our list of best free games.

Fortnitemares 2025 start date
Epic Games has now confirmed that Fortnitemares 2025 will begin on October 9, 2025. That’s according to an in-game pop-up that teases the upcoming event. You can see this image below:
Collaborations confirmed with Fortnitemares 2025
Thanks to the official Fortnite user account on Reddit (u/TheFortniteTeam), we know that Scooby Doo, Scream, and REPO are part of Fortnitemares 2025. The team has posted images on many different subreddits, and you can see two of them in the image above. The teaser for Scream is embedded below, showing a very terrified Peely reflected on Ghostface’s knife.
On the official Fortnite Instagram account, a few audio clips were posted that point to upcoming collaborations. The post below alludes to Black Phone, with The Grabber uttering some iconic lines from the first film.
Then there’s the clip below, which features sound effects from the Friday the 13th series. Looks like Jason will be involved in Fortnitemares 2025!

Finally, we have Doja Cat, who was revealed as the main villain of this year’s Fortnitemares. The clip embedded above was shared on the official website Fortnite Twitter account and is likely a small part of a trailer that will be released in the next 24 hours (October 9). Fortnitemares 2025 leaks
Now let’s move on to some information that has been disclosed by personalities Fortnite fugitives. The first comes from Twitter user @x103p, who spotted a few upcoming Doja Cat skins, grabbed the screens from a livestream hosted by Doja Cat herself on Instagram. You can see this below:
Then we have @ShiinaBR on Twitter, which has been very reliable. Fortnite escape into the past. They’ve released a summary of the leaks so far, listing the characters rumored to be coming to Fortnitemares. So far we’ve confirmed much of the list, but we still have to see Terrifier and Poppy Playtime.

Given that it is Fortnite leaked and not from official sources, we cannot confirm if they are actually accurate. In the past, both of these sources have been correct, although Epic Games tends to move content at the last minute and save some collaborations for later updates.
