The security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence operation (IBO) in the Maddi region in the District of Dera Ismail Khan, Inter-service public relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

The operation, launched on April 16, followed confirmed information on the presence of activists in the region. An exchange of fierce fire committed suicide, leading to the death of the four terrorists, who would have been linked to several attacks in the region.

Weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the site, according to the ISPR.
