Four martyr in Killa Abdullah Market Blast

On Sunday, at least four people were martyred and more than 20 others injured in a powerful explosion that rocked the Gulistan bazaar on Sunday in the district of Killa Abdullah, Balutchistan, according to officials of the district administration.

The explosion occurred near the Jabbar market, causing significant damage to the building and triggering a general panic. Several stores collapsed and fires broke out in several establishments after the explosion.

The injured were initially taken to the nearby health establishments, while the injured critically were transferred to Quetta for subsequent treatment. Killa Abdullah’s deputy commissioner, Riaz Khan, confirmed the victims, declaring that the market was located next to the rear wall of the Fortier body (FC). After the explosion, a brief exchange of gunshots occurred between unidentified attackers and FC staff.

The wounded included an elder security agent Tribal Haji Faizullah Khan Ghabizai and several passers -by. At the time of the explosion, Haji Faizullah Khan would have been present in his office located on the market but remained unscathed.

In response to the incident, the application of laws sealed the area and launched a complete research and clearance operation. Local administration and security personnel continue to assess damage while ensuring that the injured receive appropriate medical care.

The explosion occurred a few days after four people of sampling lost their lives in a deadly attack of firearms by unidentified armed men on a checkpoint in the NAL zone of the Khuzdar district. Friday’s attack took place at the Samand Levies check.

The attackers opened fire blind on the control post before fleeing the premises. The officials condemned the martyrdom of the personnel of the samples. They reiterated their determination to translate people behind the legal attack and maintain security in the province.
