Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence operation in Kalat district of Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation, carried out on the night of November 1, targeted members of Fitna al Hindustan, a group described as an Indian proxy.
Troops reportedly attacked the terrorists’ hideout, killing four people. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the scene.
The ISPR said the terrorists were involved in “many terrorist activities” and subsequent disinfection operations were underway in the area.

The ISPR said a disinfection operation was underway to eliminate all remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region. “The security and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan, under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam as approved by the Supreme Federal Committee on National Action Plan, will continue their relentless anti-terrorism campaign to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country,” the statement added.
On Monday, security forces killed three terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij in two separate operations in North Waziristan and Tank districts, while five policemen were injured on the same day in an armed attack on the convoy of North Waziristan District Police Officers (DPOs) near Bannu, officials said.
These incidents come amid a persistent terror threat in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa border belt, where cross-border infiltration attempts and targeted attacks on security personnel have intensified in recent months.
The DPO narrowly escaped the attack, which occurred amid heightened security operations across KP.
