Fuel prices in Pakistan should increase by RS11 per liter, while diesel prices should increase to Rs15 per liter, from July 1, 2025.
These increases are attributed to the global overvoltage of crude oil prices and the continuous damping of the Pakistani Roupie

The oil division has confirmed the expected price increases. The oil and gas regulatory authority (OGRA) is expected to send a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum today, with an official announcement of revised prices expected later in the evening.
The Minister of Finance, in consultation with the Prime Minister, will finalize and approve the new price structure.
These expected increases follow a recent increase in fuel prices which entered into force on June 16, 2025. The price of gasoline was increased by Rs 4.80 per liter. Likewise, the price of high -speed diesel (HSD) increased by RS7.95 per liter
On the other hand, OGRA has officially published a notification for a significant increase in gas prices for national categories and other consumers, the new rates coming into force from July 1, 2025.
This decision results in additional financial pressure on citizens affected by inflation, as domestic gas rates have been revised up to 50% in certain categories.

According to the official notification, the internal gas prices have been considerably revised. For household consumers, new rates vary from RS200 to RS4,200 by MMBTU.
In addition to the unit costs, OGRA has introduced fixed monthly costs for domestic users.
