Netflix has acquired additional Scheffler’s arrest images, including bodycam images.

“I’m terribly sorry. I’m just trying to go to my tee. I’m going to keep my arms there, I promise it,” said Scheffler when he was handcuffed.

Other images show that Scheffler asked someone “please help him”, and he asked another officer if he was “able to speak for a second”.

“Are you aware that I play in the golf tournament?” Scheffler added. Apparently, an officer was not.

“I guess you are pretty good if you play in the PGA,” said an officer.

Scheffler humbly replied: “Yeah, I’m fine.”

“I’m going to be honest. I didn’t think it was a position in which I would never be,” said Scheffler to an officer on the way back to Valhalla.

“Usually people never do it,” replied the officer.

Scheffler even made a joke according to which he only wanted rinse-blisters, because “I try not to drink too much before going to play golf at 8 am”

“I did not know that you were the number 1 in the world at the moment. You are too relaxed to be the n ° 1 player in the world,” said an officer by escorting Scheffler to the course.

“I think that is why they are so surprised to have been arrested,” replied the golfer.

Scheffler was then reserved and released and arrived in time with time to waste.

“I panicked because I went from driving to the golf course to a prison cell, and I still don’t know how it happened exactly. I don’t think it was really real,” said Scheffler to producers for the documentary.

Less than two weeks later, all the charges against Scheffler were abandoned. And he fired with casualness only 66 hours after his arrest. He sprayed a little in his last two laps, but he still managed to equalize to eighth at 13 under the weekend.

Xander Schauffele won his first of the two majors in his career, the second being the championship opened later in July.
