Samsung’s marketing strategy for its buds Galaxy Buds and / or Galaxy Buds 3 Fe (which would completely bypass any Buds 2 Fe variant, despite the first and only successors of the Galaxy Buds Fe) was somewhat … eccentric.
And now, instead of two sets of headphones, only one has been teased by the Indian arm of Samsung – but not by the American or British subdivisions of the technology giant.
And although the Samsung India post on X (below) does not expressly indicate “ Here is the Core Galaxy Buds, the ladies and the gentlemen! ‘The slogan “Let the music move to the heart” is quite revealing … And if you click on an Amazon list, you also learn that sales start on June 27 for India buyers.

The United States / United Kingdom and Australia will also obtain the Core Galaxy Buds on June 27?
Short answer: it is impossible to say – again, this special version (or pair of versions) of Samsung was quite difficult to follow.
Less than two weeks ago, two unexpected sets of Samsung Galaxy Earbuds were revealed in an apk disassembly of the latest Galaxy Buds controller application (OS wear version, V1.0.08.38 – Thank you for your hard work, Android Authority) and none of the expected buds 2 Fe.
In April, however, Core Galaxy Buds certification deposits were identified in the United States (FCC) and India (bis) as successors of FE buds-so maybe it is better to think about programming as follows: Core Buds take the spot of the goals 2 Fe, and the goals 3 fe occupy a place, uh, after that.
And we have not finished: as spotted by Android Authority, the team of Gadgets360 has spotted a basic buds list on the official website of the United Arab Emirates of Samsung, which suggests a global deployment on June 27, even if the United States is in the end of the launch party.
The Galaxy Buds series of Samsung has not seen a new product from the Stemmed Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which arrived in the summer of 2024 (although they received much necessary updates in March 2025). So, it is high time for new iterations – and in case you have not spotted it, Buds 3 Pro are strongly updated at the moment, which often signals products about to be replaced.
What is the main upgrade that we can expect on the FE buds? Some have suggested Wi-Fi support (I will believe it when I see it) but I think we can certainly expect an increase in endurance. The FUBS FE Originals were boasting of 6 relatively humble hours with ANC and I am sure that Samsung seeks to level this to remain relevant, even in the space of $ 99 / £ 99.
