One day after the member of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI) of the National Assembly, Sher Afzal Marwat, was expelled from the party, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Minister of Ali Amin Gandapur in his defense. Gandapur urged the party’s founder to reconsider the decision and restore the members of Marwat.
In this regard, the KP CM met Imran Khan Thursday in the conference room of Adiala prison. During their discussion, they addressed various political questions and parties, the situation of the law and the order in KP, current development projects and the recent gathering in Swabi.
According to sources, Gandapur has specifically raised concerns concerning the expulsion of Marwat, asking the founder of the party to examine the decision.
On Wednesday, The Express News reported that Imran Khan asked PTI leaders to withdraw Marwat from the party. Its members were revoked following complaints from senior party leaders concerning its behavior during the Swabi rally.
