The investigation into Gene Hackman and the death of his wife Betsy Arakawa revealed that the couple died seven days apart.
The authorities have revealed that the two died of different causes, Betsy of Hantavirus – a pseuric virus linked to rodent excrement – while Gene died of a combination of serious heart disease, high blood pressure and press disease to the press.
It is assumed that the actor, 95, was perhaps alone at home with his dead wife, 65, for about a week.
“It is reasonable to conclude that Ms. Hackman succeeded first,” said Jarrell.
Betsy’s last external communication was apparently by email on February 11, said Santa Fe Adan Mendoza’s sheriff.
Meanwhile, Gene’s cardiac stimulator reported that the last activity was on February 17.
Jarell added that it is “reasonable to conclude” the Oscar -winning actor – who had no food in the stomach at the time of his death – the next day. However, investigators found no signs of dehydration.
The hackmans were found dead in their home of Santa Fe on February 26 in advanced decomposition states after a member of the service staff contacted a neighborhood security officer without response to the couple. The officer called 911 when he saw the bodies through a window.
Gene was found in a house locker room while Betsy was found dead in a bathroom near a radiator and dispersed pills. The couple had no children together and lived with their dogs.
One of their dogs, Zinna, was also found dead in a box inside a bathroom closet – a few meters from Betsy. The cause of the death of the deceased dog is still being surveyed while two other dogs have been healthy in the same residence.
No unfair game or sign of carbon monoxide and gas was discovered.
Gene shared three children Christopher, 65, Elizabeth, 63, and Leslie, 58, with the ex-wife Faye Maltese.
