Generous compensation revealed for the heirs of the flood victims

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government began the compensation process for flood victims as part of a special package, said Minister-in-Information Councilor Muhammad Ali Saif.

The remuneration package has been doubled, he said, adding that as part of the package, compensation for those who lost their lives in the floods were gone from Rs1 million to Rs2 million rupees.

SAIF also said that 850 million rupees had been released in all districts for compensation payments.

He stressed that the provincial government is firmly with the victims of the floods during this difficult period. He said that since more rain was planned, the public should stay away from streams and rivers and take precautionary measures.

SAIF also advised citizens to report any annoying incident by calling the emergency line of the 1700 emergency.

Amir Muqam
