Geno Smith says he is “excited” to join the raiders

Geno Smith would go from a Seahawks uniform to Raiders Silver and Black next season.

On Friday, several reports surfaced by saying that Seattle had agreed to exchange the 34-year-old quarterrier in Las Vegas.

The raiders sent a third round choice during the NFL draft next month to the Seahawks in exchange for Smith, Espn reported.

The transaction would end Smith’s six -year race with the Seahawks. He was the main start of three of these seasons and won the honors of the pro bowl twice.

Smith went to social networks shortly after discovering that his name was linked to successful trade relationships.

“God is the biggest !! excited to go to work and to save. The time is now,” wrote Smith on X.

Smith launched for 4,320 yards and 21 affected with 15 interceptions last season and will be the clear favorite to be the leaving when Las Vegas will open its season, even if the club selects a quarter in the recovery next month.

Because raiders hold the sixth choice, it is unlikely that the team will be able to select Miami, Hamout Cam Ward or the former star of Colorado Sheder Sanders.

Raiders could also decide to take a quarter later in the draft, like Jalen Milroe. Or they could transmit a quarter-Arrière completely and go with a quarter room which includes Smith and Aidan O’Connell.

The raiders finished 4-13 last season, which led to the departures of the coach Antonio Pierce and the director general Tom Telesco. Pete Carroll, who led Smith to Seattle, was appointed new Raiders head coach in January.

Trade for Smith is the last in a series of notable movements that raids have made this offseason. Earlier this week, the defensive winger Maxx Crosby won the richest contract for a non-quarter in the history of the League.

He received an extension of three years worth 106.5 million dollars, with $ 91.5 million guaranteed, to keep it in Las Vegas throughout the 2029 season.
