There was a scary moment in Baltimore on Tuesday evening when George Springer was hit in the helmet with a quick 96 mph ball.
The Toronto Blue Jays voltiseur was in the box of the thickness at the top of the ninth with the Orioles two withdrawals from a victory.
Kade Strowd was on the bump for Toronto, but on the first step, Springer saw right -handers, he pierced it.

Strowd was visibly upset and Springer is lying on dirt for a while because he was treated by the staff. Springer has left the field with the help of the coaches.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider suggested that the situation could have been much worse.
“It sort of shoulder, then helmet, which … fortunately, he was also able to shoot a little,” Schneider told journalists after the match.

Schneider said Springer was being evaluated when he availability of the media. He was not in the starting alignment for the first match of their Double-Têre-Soir Wednesday.

Springer has experienced a resurgence this season in Toronto, because its average of the stick of .291 has been its highest since the 0.292 striker in Houston in 2019. He is also a Home Run of his total of 19 in the 2-24 campaign.
