Smart spoke when four former collegial quarter -quarters appeared on his screen – Bryce Young from Alabama, Joe Burrow de Lsu, Manziel de Texas A&M and Cam Newton by Auburn. He asked what each quarter-arre had in common.

A person shouted “Heisman”. Smart said it was a good answer. Each player won the Heisman trophy during his university stay. Someone else said “champion” and it seemed to be a bridge too far for Smart.
“Champions? He is not champion. Champion of what? Champion of the fireball,” said Smart about Manziel. “Very well, okay, okay, okay, I’m going to go here for you. There is Heisman. No? They all spent good days compared to our defenses. All four when they are part of us of a form or a form. “

Manziel fought against drug and alcohol dependence during and after his career in the NFL with the Browns of Cleveland. He thought about the roots and the impact of his dependence in a Q&R with students and those who recover at the Vital Health Conference of the University of Alabama in August.
Manziel said at the conference that alcohol had no room in his life. He also indicated that experience has taught him a new way to manage any potential future success. He surrounded himself with consultants who pushed him if necessary. He said he had learned that of having too much unanimous support from those around him in the past.

“I started to develop and I have a lot of men yes around me,” said Manziel. “I think that at the head of this group of influences was myself, and managing success now is not a solo thing. You must have a support system and rely on things in your life.”
