New York mass shooting on Monday struck near his home for sports fans.

Mayor Eric Adams said at a press conference on Tuesday that the shooter, identified as Shane Tamura, seemed to have targeted the National Football League. The shooting occurred in the same building as the league headquarters in Manhattan.

“You have all seen what happened at 345 Park Ave. Tragic. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people who were affected in this tragedy, here with the Giants,” said Giants coach Brian Daboll on Tuesday.

The shooter was found dead on the 33rd floor, where he also killed another woman, with a self-inflicted ball injury. New York police commissioner Jessica Tisch said Tamura had history problems.
