- Gigabyte’s AI Top 500 TRX50 is an office built for AI developers working on massive LLM
- CPU FILERIPPER AT ALRIANT INCLUDED, but the motherboard supports more recent upgrades
- GPU GeForce RTX 5090 associated with software for setting the model
Gigabyte discreetly launched the Top 500 TRX50, a high -end system for developers working on AI models and advanced multimodal tasks.
The machine is powered by the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7965WX processor of AMD and cooled by an Aorus 360 Aorus 360 liquid cooler. This combination allows it to surpass the gigabyte of Gigabyte previously announced by AI Top 100 Z890.
Interesting, as Techpowerup Reports, the TOP 500 of the AI is still based on the architecture “Zen 4 / Storm Peak” of AMD, even with the series Threadripper Pro 9000 which should be launched in the near future.
Ports in Gogo
Fortunately, Gigabyte’s TRX50 motherboard supports future upgrades, which could appeal to those who provide longer -term constructions. Video suggests that a version using 32-core 7975WX could be published soon.
Like the AI top 100, the 500 series prebuilded also includes the own GEFORCE RTX 5090 graphics card from Gigabyte RTX 5090.
Internally, the office (which resembles a striking resemblance to the master HAF 700 of cooler) supports up to 768 GB of DDR5 R-DIMM memory in eight locations.
Storage is in the form of an SSD of Top 100e cache from 1 to Top 100e, designed to endure heavy writing cycles, and an Aorus Gen 4 2 TB SSD for primary use. The power supply is provided by an ultra-durable PSU of 1600W ultra durable top noted at 80 more in platinum and compatible with ATX 3.1.
The TOP 500 AI offers a wide range of connectivity options. In advance, users obtain four USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, audio sockets in and outside, and both the power and resetting buttons. At the rear are six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two 40 Gbps Type-C USB4 ports, two LAN RJ-45 ports, a DisplayPort input and two additional audio sockets.
The workstation also supports multi-node expansion via Thunderbolt 5 and Dual 10g LAN, making it a practical option for research laboratories or development teams.
The system is closely integrated into the Gigabyte UI Top Ui Top UI software platform which helps users to manage AI models, create data sets and monitor real-time hardware performance.
With the support for up to 405 billion parameter models, Gigabyte targets users who need serious local calculation performance without relying on cloud resources…. And, the players too, apparently, if we believe his slogan of “Premium Gaming and AI game”.
