A 16 -year -old girl who died after falling apparently from the window of an apartment on the eighth floor in the northern district of Karachi Nazimabad, police announced on Monday.
The victim, identified as Anadiya, was found outside the Sky Blue apartments near the Isa laboratory in the H. Bloc. The rescuers transported his body to Abbasi Shaheed hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.
According to the police, Anadiya’s family was not present at the time of the incident. Her parents and two sisters went shopping, leaving her home with her twin sister, Maryam. Authorities said Maryam was in shock, preventing them from immediately recording her declaration.
The initial surveys suggest that Anadiya may have jumped from the window. The police noted that the size of the window made someone exit accidentally, which suspects suspicion. They also observed that the place where his body was found was significantly further from the building than expected, deepening doubts about the circumstances.
Anadiya would have undergone treatment for mental health problems in a private hospital. Her family mentioned that she had recently shown growing interest in religion.
Authorities are expecting family declarations, in particular parents, who are currently too distressing to provide accounts. Police gave the family to the family after completing the initial legal procedures.
Earlier this week, a woman suspected of drug trafficking and dependence died after jumping from the fourth floor of a residential building in phase 6 of Karachi’s defense during a police descent.
According to the police, the woman, who sold drugs, fell from the building while trying to avoid arrest. She was taken to Jinnah hospital but succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
The raid followed the arrest of a drug trafficker named Ubaid near Sea View. Based on her information, the police, accompanied by research women, tried to enter the woman’s apartment, but she refused to open the door and ended up falling from the balcony instead.
Police said they had recovered drugs, including Crystal Meth (ICE) and drug accessories from his apartment.
